Here is an example of a Hupp Skylark sales brochure - there were at least 2 different versions of this brochure - one that was distributed via mail to potential customers who had inquired about the Skylark either at the New York Auto Show or via mail inquiry to the factory, and a second, later version which included pricing on the back page. There is also a third version which I have heard of, but never seen, which was allegedly distributed in Europe. However, this seems odd, considering the outbreak of war and the uncertainty that gripped the continent in late 1939. However, a Skylark advertisement in a Dutch newspaper has been found, indicating that it is quite possible the story is true. |
